Vrhnika Coffee Festival

Vrhnika is known for Cankar’s cup of coffee, which is why the town is the perfect setting for this annual event aimed at showcasing providers of boutique products connected in one way or another with coffee. The festival features interesting producers of quality coffee, coffee drinks, coffee desserts and snacks. Visitors can taste special brands of coffee that cannot be found in Slovenian stores. In terms of quality and content, the event ranks alongside coffee festivals in European and global capitals. A wide variety of accompanying activities will provide fun for everybody, regardless of their age or involvement in the world of coffee.

The main purpose of the Vrhnika Coffee Festival is to showcase Slovenian micro roasteries and boutique brands of products connected with coffee. On 7 September, the park at the heart of Cankar’s home town will be filled with the aroma of the world’s favourite drink. You will be able to taste special brands of coffee that cannot be found in Slovenian stores. Try some coffee ice cream, coffee desserts, a coffee burger and other specialities. Or paint a “coffeecolour” ... Visit the coffeemost event for miles around!
